Josta Dladla has backed Arsenal to win the 2023/24 Premier League title.

With the Premier League title race between Arsenal and Manchester City approaching a climax, former South African footballer Josta Dladla placed a R10 000 bet on who he thinks will win the English top-flight this season. Here's a look!

The story

Arsenal and City are separated by just one point on top of the table, with the Gunners sitting first with two games remaining against Manchester United this weekend and Everton on the final day of the season.

The reigning champions, meanwhile, have a game in hand as their remaining fixtures are up against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United. Victory in all three games will guarantee Pep Guardiola's side a record-breaking fourth Premier League title in a row even if Arsenal wins their two remaining games.

This thrilling race has left many supporters and neutrals on the edge of their seats, and it now appears that Dladla is now also putting money where his mouth is.

A video posted by content creator Molemo Lehoko on Instagram, Dladla and fellow Supersport colleague Nqobile Khwezi are seen entering into a R10 000 bet over who will win the Premier League.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs star is backing Arsenal to triumph, whilst Khwezi is steadfast on City claiming the trophy for a fourth consecutive season.

The two have agreed that winner will receive the amount "in cash", with Dladla remarking: "Arsenal don't disappoint me!"

All eyes will be at Old Trafford this weekend, as Arsenal have to overcome one of the biggest rivals to keep their title hopes alive. The Red Devils have only lost just one of their last 16 Premier League home games against the Gunners.

With Mikel Arteta's side having won the fist league round clash at the Emirates, the Spaniard will be hoping to complete Arsenal's first league double over United  since the 2006/07 campaign
